2014 — Founded in Agriculture

Empowering Australian Farmers

Gravitas Energy was established to help Australian farmers navigate rising energy costs and the shift toward renewables. Working across Victoria and Tasmania, we delivered more than 50 large-scale solar, battery and energy efficiency projects in the dairy, egg and food processing sectors.

2018 — Seeing the Grid Opportunity

Recognising Australia's Grid Storage Imperative

Through delivering complex energy projects, we recognised a growing need beyond "behind the meter" solutions. Australia's grid required large-scale storage to support reliability as renewable generation increased. We pivoted our entire strategy toward grid-scale BESS development.
